Charles Scribner's Sons Building, from 5th between 47/48th Streets
I've been going on random walks in the city lately (now that the weather have warmed up!), and I've noticed my interest in hand-painted, old, or quirky signage. The Charles Scribner's Sons used to be a publisher in the States and printed a large number of religious and reference titles; it underwent a few change-of-hands in the late 1970's and early 80's, and is now owned by Simon & Schuster.
