DC Metro
There's this quality about the subways in DC that makes me feel like I'm some sort of underground reptilian creature... the cavernous tunnels, the cool, fluorescent lighting, and the long, slow ascent back to the rest of the world. I don't like it. It's very efficient, but it feels very non-human.
