Mask Change, on left. It was really cool; I had never heard of the performance until I saw it last year. Turns out, it's a traditional and highly-guarded art form that began in Sichuan opera 300 years ago. The performer changed masks several times, blue, green, red, black, faster than I could blink; each mask had a different expression. I am still baffled as to what he did with the masks he took off. Nope, I don't know a single person in this photo, but I like it. I think it's the near identical shade of suede-browns all across the photo that makes it work.
